Fluimac is an innovative, dynamic company manufacturing high quality, reliable and cost-efficient air operated diaphragm pumps.  With European manufacturing facilities and company own research and development, Fluimac strive to adapt to constant evolving national and international market trends whilst maintaining internal quality control systems guaranteeing innovations and certified products, which respect current legal standards.

An air operated diaphragm pump is a type of positive displacement pump.  The pump is usually self-priming and used where there is no electricity or located in a hazardous area.  The pump requires an air pressure and uses compressed air and two chambers, each with a single diaphragm.  An air valve directs compressed air between two sides of the pump, back and forth to create the pumping action.

Fluimac diaphragm pumps are made from high quality material, reliable, cost efficient, easy to install and easy to operate.

An air operated diaphragm pump can move or transfer liquids with low, medium, or high viscosities, as well as liquids that have suspended solids. These pumps can transfer abrasive fluids, including concrete, or acids and chemicals, perishable and non-perishable foods and hazardous materials.

An air operated diaphragm pump can run dry without damaging the pump for an extended period.  The pump will not overheat.

A diaphragm pump can run against a semi closed or fully closed discharge valve, i.e., “dead head” without wear or damage to the pump.  The pump will simply stop pumping.
